With great-grandparents who settled in the area in 1888–1889, the Harksells are proud lifelong members of the Ferndale community. Pete is a graduate of the GM School in Tigard, Oregon, while Nita studied office management and accounting at Bellingham Technical College. Together, they have one grown son and have devoted their lives to supporting local families through dependable auto care.
